Overview


By sequentially switching the motor windings from a star (Y) configuration to a delta (Δ) configuration, this cabinet minimizes starting torque and current, protecting both the motor and the power supply. Engineered for durability and ease of use, it is an essential component for large motor applications where soft starting is critical.

Dual-Configuration Starting: The intelligent control system automatically transitions from star to delta connection within 5-30 seconds (adjustable via timer), reducing starting current by up to 50% compared to direct-on-line starting.

Comprehensive Protection: Equipped with overload relays, thermal protectors, and short-circuit breakers, ensuring motor safety under abnormal conditions. Phase monitoring detects unbalanced supply voltages to prevent damage.

A: To prevent overheating, the recommended starting frequency is no more than 6 times per hour, with at least 30 seconds between starts.
